How did you get started trapping?
Reading books and magazines, especially Fur-Fish-Game. I grew up in a farming community and had access to a lot of area.
Special memories from early years
First fox; first coyote
Special memories in Alaska
  • On two occasions, I have caught all three color phases of red fox (red, cross and silver) in the same day.
  • EVERY wolf and wolverine is special.
  • Some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets I've ever seen have been on the trapline.
