Mike Kolasa

Mike Kolasa was born and raised in Michigan. He fell in love with hunting, fishing, and trapping at a young age - these were big family activities. Mike got a degree in business and a degree in biblical studies before moving up to Fairbanks in 2004. Mike has been trapping in AK since he moved here and his first marten, lynx, and coyote were all caught in Alaska. Mike has served on the ATA Board of Directors for the past year and was involved in hiring our new editor and new book-keeper. He is currently the director of a non-profit organization, the Literacy Council of Alaska.
