From the ATA Archives: Trappers in Tuxes

Many people have never seen (and probably never will see again) either of these trappers in tuxedos. One is Pete Buist (Fairbanks) on the right, and the other is Hoholitna River trapper Ken Deardorff of McGrath. The event that lent itself to this photo was the wedding of Jason Buist and Susan Deardorff in June. The happy couple (probably happy because they do not have to be seen with these two old clowns any more) reside in Kodiak!
